Information we collect
When you make a roofing enquiry, you may give us your name, telephone number, email address, property town or postcode, photographs and details about the roof or property. We may also keep relevant correspondence and information needed to prepare or manage work you ask us to carry out.
If you arrive through an advert, the website may also record advertising identifiers such as a Google click ID, campaign information, the first landing page and the date of the visit. Missing identifiers are not created or inferred.
How we use the information
We use enquiry details to reply, understand the roofing work, confirm whether we cover the property, arrange an inspection or quote, and manage work you choose to book. Advertising information is used to understand which campaigns result in genuine roofing enquiries and to measure advertising performance. We may also use information where needed to meet legal duties, protect our rights or keep the website secure.
Our lawful reasons for using it
We normally use your information because you have asked us to take steps before providing roofing work, because it is needed to carry out an agreement, or because we have a legitimate business reason to answer and manage enquiries or measure the effectiveness of our advertising. Where consent is required for analytics or advertising storage, the website asks for it. We will ask separately before using contact details for optional marketing where consent is required.
Who information may be shared with
Information may be handled by service providers that support website hosting, communications, analytics, advertising measurement or business administration. These include Formspree when you submit the website enquiry form, and Google, Microsoft Clarity and Meta when you consent to their measurement services. Microsoft Clarity provides session replays and heatmaps to help us identify usability problems; form entries are masked. Meta Pixel receives browser/device information and page visits, successful enquiry events and separate contact-link clicks to measure and improve Facebook advertising. We do not send enquiry names, email addresses, telephone numbers, postcodes, photographs or message text as Meta event parameters, and automatic advanced matching is not enabled. WhatsApp receives information you choose to send through its service. Information may also be disclosed where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information.
How long information is kept
We keep information only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, any roofing work, record-keeping and legal obligations. Advertising attribution stored by this website expires after 90 days. Other retention periods depend on the type of information and whether you become a customer.
How information is protected
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures intended to protect personal information. No internet service is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information that is not needed for a roofing enquiry.
