What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file that a website can place on your device. Cookies can help a site work, remember a choice, measure visits or support advertising. Similar technologies, including local browser storage, can perform related tasks.
Google Analytics and Google Ads measurement
This website uses Google Analytics to understand website visits and Google Ads measurement to understand which adverts lead to roofing enquiries. Advertising and analytics storage are denied by default. The website asks you to accept or reject these cookies before that storage is allowed.
If you reject optional cookies, the website does not load Google measurement, Meta Pixel or Microsoft Clarity. If you accept, Google may use cookies or similar storage for website measurement and advertising attribution under its own privacy terms.
Microsoft Clarity
With your consent, Microsoft Clarity uses session replays and heatmaps to help us understand how people use the website and identify technical problems. Form entries are masked. Clarity loads only after optional cookies are accepted, and your choice is passed to its consent controls. You can withdraw your choice below.
Meta Pixel (Facebook advertising)
Meta Pixel loads only after you accept analytics and advertising cookies. It measures page visits, completed enquiry forms and separate phone or WhatsApp clicks. It helps connect these actions to our Facebook adverts. Meta receives technical information such as your IP address, browser information and page URL. Where applicable, Meta may use _fbp and _fbc cookies for up to 90 days. We do not send the contents of enquiry fields as event parameters or enable automatic advanced matching.
Rejecting cookies prevents the Meta Pixel from loading. You can change or withdraw consent using the button below; withdrawal stops further Meta events. You can also delete existing cookies in your browser. Earlier consent to Google-only measurement does not enable Meta tracking.
Advertising attribution storage
If you accept optional cookies and an advertising link contains a click ID or campaign information, the website stores that attribution in local browser storage, with a first-party cookie as a fallback. The record can include Google click identifiers, UTM campaign values, the first landing page and the date first seen. It expires after 90 days and is submitted with a roofing enquiry so the enquiry can be matched to the campaign that produced it.
What we measure
We measure page visits and website actions. A successful form enquiry is recorded only after Formspree confirms that the submission was accepted. Telephone-link and WhatsApp-link clicks are recorded separately and are not treated as completed form enquiries.
After an eligible Google advert visit, Google may temporarily replace the OnPoint RoofCare number shown on this website with a Google forwarding number. Calls still connect to OnPoint RoofCare. This allows Google Ads to report which adverts led to calls and whether a call reached the minimum length set for a phone lead.
Video content
The New Roofs Glasgow quote page contains a YouTube video using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed. YouTube may still store information or use cookies when you choose to play or interact with that video. The Roof Repairs Glasgow quote page uses videos hosted directly by this website.
External links
The website includes links that can open third-party services, including WhatsApp and YouTube. Once you follow an external link, that service may use its own cookies or collect information under its own privacy rules. OnPoint RoofCare does not control those external settings.
Your browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block or delete cookies and local storage. Blocking essential website technology can affect how a site works. Browser help pages explain the controls available on your device.
