What is EPDM roofing?+
EPDM is a synthetic rubber waterproof covering used to waterproof flat and low-slope roof areas.
Can EPDM be repaired?+
Suitable local repairs may be possible when the waterproof covering and deck around the fault remain suitable.
Can EPDM be laid over old felt?+
An overlay is not automatically suitable. The existing roof layers must be dry, stable, suitable and properly checked.
Is EPDM suitable for every flat roof?+
No single system suits every roof. Size, deck, falls, outlets, foot traffic and join details need to be considered.
